Mr. Bartlett managed design of a complete remodel of 1700 linear foot frontage of 1980’s vintage strip mall. Project budget of $5.5M was tightly controlled by local retail management firm while the new design was created with Maryland based owner. Project bid under budget and is currently in negotiations for construction contract; expect completion 2010.

Mr. Bartlett managed tightly budgeted $1.6M project for covered outdoor skate rink, concessions, public facilities support areas and water-play splashpad area to augment existing community pool development. Completes May 2009.

  Mr. Bartlett was added to a critical V.E. project team in development off a solution to re-think a severely over budget project brought from another firm. After a full week VE session, designs were revised with significant ideas and contributions of Mr. Bartlett incorporated to save millions of dollars. Mr. Bartlett was then retained as the architecture services manager on the ensuing design utilizing 2 pre-cast concrete buildings which bids in July 2009 and is currently projected at $2M under budget.

Intricate $550,000 Spanish tile re-roof project for historic Community Center. Research of discovered original tiles and historic photos were used to assure correct style and detailing; Completed in 2008.
