This project was a medical out-patient surgery center done while Mr. Bartlett was with Cole Associates; they were the architect/engineer of record for the building. Mr. Bartlett served as project manager for design of this $4 million, high-profile corporate offices building with a concrete pre-cast warehouse and manufacturing facility. He worked with the client and design consultants from schematic design through construction documents and worked closely with the construction manager from early in the design to better target costs for the 65,000-sft building. Mr. Bartlett’s design work included architecture, site layout and interior finishes. He was also responsible for close coordination of the full design team (architectural, structural, MEP, site/civil).

Fishers Park Building

Mr. Bartlett served as Project Architect for this 2500 s.f. project (which was done by Cole Associates)

Mr. Bartlett assisted in the design as well as performing all construction documents for architectural aspects of the building. The facility includes a large indoor activity area and an outdoor (covered) area as well as public toilet rooms, park office and maintenance equipment storage. A key component to the design was to replicate architecture elements and coloring scheme of the buildings at the town's recently completed town complex a few blocks away.

Sahm Park Pool

(Sahm Park Pool was by P.I. Cripe, Inc. with Mr. Bartlett serving as Project Architect)

This project was designed by P.I. Cripe, Inc. While with that firm, Mr. Bartlett was Project Architect on this project. The most key aspect of this design is the blend of the traditional pool with the more modern water-feature based splash and play features. The client's property had been a historic competitive swimming arena with nearly 50-year old facilities including an 8-lane, 50 meter lap pool and a full diving tank with a tower. In designing a replacement facility, area swim clubs wished to maintain a lap-type pool and the parks department required a high-occupancy, play feature packed design to maximize user numbers. The design achieves both requirements. Another key aspect was the re-capture of the existing concessions building (the only newer structure on the property) and a re-skinning of it with a butterfly roof and variable height columns that give it a vibrant look.
